Speaker Biography: Jamal has been in the IT field for over 19 years. He comes from software/applications development background and has moved up in technical management to become project manager and an IT manager running full fledged IT functions within large, multinational organizations. During the last 13 years, Jamal has managed and lead some large-scale development projects with values of $ 3 – 5 million. In addition to charting projects’ scope and plan, allocating resources to individual project tasks and managing projects’ overall budget and expenditure, he managed projects’ associated infrastructure and telecom design, change and deployment. Solid well rounded experience coupled with formal ITIL training and certification in ITIL Foundation have given Jamal the necessary skill set and tools to be effective and efficient in carrying out senior, strategic IT supervision and management.
